The Mavericks are still facing a tall task, down 3-1 in a best-of-seven series. If they were able to win the next three, they’d be the first team in NBA history to come back and win a best-of-seven series after being down 0-3.
“Anything is possible,” Mavs guard Monta Ellis said after Sunday night’s 121-109 Game 4 victory at American Airlines Center. “We just got to take it one game at a time.”
Ellis has been Dallas’ offensive catalyst the past two games, scoring 34 points in a 130-128 Game 3 loss and a game-high 31 Sunday night.
