In what seems like an annual tradition, the Dallas Mavericks and Devin Harris have agreed to a one year deal according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. The deal will be for a veteran’s minimum, projected to be a shade under $2.4 million. This marks the third time since 2013 the Mavs and Harris have agreed upon a new contract, so this seemed destined to happen all along.
In February, Harris was part of a three team swap that ultimately allowed the 14-year veteran to finish the season fighting for a playoff berth with the Denver Nuggets and gave the Mavs a three-month trial with Doug McDermott.
