He’s back. The Mavericks announced Wednesday morning that Harris re-signed with the team. Reports surfaced last month that Devin Harris planned to rejoin the Dallas Mavericks so it was only a matter of time before the two sides tied the knot again for the third time. Now, it’s official.
Thanks to those previous reports, we know that Harris is joining the Mavericks on a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal worth $2.4 million. After the signings Harris, Salah Mejri, and Ryan Broekhoff, the Mavericks are over the cap limit. They were able to sign over the cap because each of these players signed for the minimum exception.
