Dallas Mavericks: Why do they keep striking out in free agency
The Dallas Mavericks improved their roster this offseason. They added defensive upgrades Josh Richardson, Josh Green, Wesley Iwundu, and Tyler Bey. The Mavs traded for James Johnson to bring toughness, plus re-signed Trey Burke, Willie Cauley-Stein, and J.J. Barea to round out their talented roster. Overall, they attacked weaknesses and filled holes to improve for the 2020-2021 season.
Some fans were left feeling disappointed, though. The Mavericks reportedly wanted to add a third star but did not acquire one.
