Through offensive struggles and key injuries, Coach Rick Carlisle and the Dallas Mavericks have remained calm and in control. A change of pace may have been just what the team needed, to get back to winning ways. Though they would prefer to have everyone health and in uniform, the injuries have allowed opportunities for others to make big impacts on the playoff run.
The Mavericks now stand just one win away from clinching the post season. A perfect 3-0 week 24, now extends the win streak to six. Every game seemed more important than the previous, but they continued to step up when necessary.
