Tickets are officially on sale as of this morning for the annual Dirk Nowitzki Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game. The game happens every year during the summer where Dirk gets celebrities from the area (and some from outside of Dallas) together to play a pickup-style baseball game for charity.
The game provides funs to both the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Heroes Foundation. Players from the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys usually make up a large part of the game, while some Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars have joined in the past.
According to the official Dirk Nowitzki Foundation website, “The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation is dedicated to putting children first and assisting them through programs focusing on their wellbeing, health and education.
