It is always interesting evaluating players as who needs to prove themselves and who doesn’t because if you can’t play at the highest level, you really shouldn’t be there. That said, the Dallas Mavericks are (hopefully) just finishing up a rebuild in which many of the players were just trying to make their name relevant across the NBA.
That should be a little bit different this year.
The Dallas Mavericks roster is full of young talent and established veterans, giving the team a healthy mix of proven and unproven. Of these players, only a few are really in need of a strong season to help their status going forward.
