The Dallas Mavericks got the season started right on Wednesday evening. They cruised to a 108-100 victory over the Washington Wizards. Luka Doncic led the charge with a massive performance. Kristaps Porzingis scored 23 points in his game as a Maverick.
There were a few surprises too. Courtney Lee was the opening night starter. J.J. Barea and Boban Marjanovic never left the bench. Mavs fans should be happy that the star duo played well, and the team got a win.
Seth Curry was limited to 20 minutes on opening night.
