The Dallas Mavericks kick off the month of December with a home game against the LA Clippers. Both teams have been surprising standouts this year. The Mavs are 10-10 on the young season and pushing for a playoff spot in the deep Western Conference.
The Clippers have the West’s best record at 15-6 so far. They are an impressive 9-1 at the Staples Center, but just 6-5 on the road this year. Still, most experts predicted the Clippers to be on the outside looking in at the playoffs, so having the best record through 21 games is quite an accomplishment.
