Dallas Mavericks free agency grade: Wesley Iwundu signs minimum deal
The Dallas Mavericks entered the 2020 offseason with a plan. Their goal was to jump into title contention by improving their defense, adding toughness, and getting more athletic. The Mavs needed a secondary creator to take the pressure off superstar Luka Doncic too.
They have been checking off boxes left and right. The Mavericks drafted two strong perimeter defenders in Josh Green and Tyler Bey. They traded Seth Curry for Josh Richardson to improve their defense.
