Most NBA fans know the importance of Chandler Parsons to the Dallas Mavericks. After spending the first half of the season easing back from his knee surgery last year, Parsons had turned the corner on the jump that he was supposed to make in his career. He was showing the Mavericks the player Dallas had hoped to sign two summers ago. Then this happened.
Now the Mavericks face a dilemma heading into the final playoff push. They sit just a game ahead of the Jazz in the 8th spot in the West and now lose arguably their second best player…some say their best overall player.
