Dallas Mavericks GOAT Dirk Nowitzki announced he is retiring at season’s end after the team’s final home game on Tuesday night. The icon has played all 21 seasons of his NBA career with the Mavericks.
Dirk is truly a legend in every sense. He won the MVP in 2007. Nowitzki is a 14-time All-Star and led the Mavs to the NBA title in 2011. He accomplished it all on the basketball court and always did his best to help people off it.
It was an emotional night. The organization celebrated Dirk all season but took it to another level on Tuesday.
