Dallas Mavericks: Dennis Smith Jr. practices despite bothersome wrist

The Dallas Mavericks have been without starting point guard Dennis Smith Jr. in their last three games. His injury dates back to Nov. 21. He hurt his right wrist in that contest. DSJ has missed eight games total, but they have been spread out. The plan remains to hold Smith Jr. out until he’s fully healthy.

The second-year point guard is trending in the right direction, though. DSJ practiced on Friday as the Mavericks prepared for their contest against the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Saturday evening.

For further proof, here is a Tweet from the Mavs official account.
