It was no big surprise, as the trade deadline passed, and the Dallas Mavericks remained intact. There was not a plethora of buy low stocks, and Dallas was limited in their assets to trade. So they will play on, with essentially the same roster for the second half of the season.
Dallas was able to pick up a nice piece off the waiver list, in David Lee. With the addition, they had to create a roster spot in letting John Jenkins go. Lee is expected to get time at the power forward and center position, off the bench.
