The Dallas Mavericks plan on taking another leap this season. No longer will they be happy with finishing seventh in the Western Conference and getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. The Mavs want to build a title contender around Luka Doncic.
The front office desired a third star this offseason before pivoting to eliminating the team’s weaknesses. Their defense will improve significantly with the additions of Josh Richardson, James Johnson, Wesley Iwundu, and Josh Green.
