The Dallas Mavericks needed to get back on track on Tuesday. They lost two soul-crushing games to open the season’s restart. Both times, Luka Doncic and the Mavs built massive leads only to watch them slip away in the second half. It was not the start anybody envisioned from Walt Disney World.
Luckily, the Mavericks got a chance to bounce back against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday afternoon. The 1:30 p.m. CT tipoff on a weekday was a change of pace. It may have contributed to some sloppy play by Dallas.
For the first time in Orlando, they got off to a slow start.
