Dallas Mavericks supporters anxiously await Kristaps Porzingis playing for the team. They got a glimpse this preseason, but that pales in comparison to a regular season game. The Unicorn donning a Mavs uniform on opening night has fans amped up.
The Mavericks traded for Porzingis in January. He was still recovering from his torn ACL, though. KP did not play a game last season. The 7’3 big man is back and fully healthy heading into the new year.
The organization and Porzingis agreed to a five-year max contract this summer. That locks in the Mavs star duo of KP and Luka Doncic for the next four seasons.
