Dallas Mavericks: 2 things to watch for vs. Hornets

The Dallas Mavericks future is bright. The Charlotte Hornets, even if they secure Kemba Walker in another long-term contract, can’t say the same. However, for at least the 2018-2019 season, Michael Jordan can sell the Charlotte faithful on a (brief) trip to the playoffs.

Despite the talk of the seemingly imminent postseason success with Luka Doncic as the heir to Dirk Nowitzki‘s throne, the Dallas Mavericks have just two wins in their last ten games. The Hornets are sitting at a rather fitting 5-5.

Jokes aside, Dallas is coming off a four-game stretch in which it faced two tough Western Conference teams.
