NEW YORK – For a glimpse inside Cooper Flagg’s DNA, look on further than his favorite philosopher.
His mother.
“I quote my mom a lot, and (she was like): if you’re the best player in the gym, you need to find a new gym,” Flagg said Tuesday at the NBA draft media day.
He’s basically been looking for a new gym ever since because he’s always been the best player in the room.
Come Wednesday night at the draft, Flagg will be entering the ultimate gym, the NBA gym.
