Flagg only played the first two games in Las Vegas before the Mavs shut him down for the last three games. In the much-ballyhooed opener against the Los Angeles Lakers where some ticket prices exceeded $2,000, he collected 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals, but was only 5-of-21 from the field, including 0-of-5 from three-point range.
And in his second game against the San Antonio Spurs, Flagg finished with 31 points in 31 minutes and had the crowd on the edge of their seats as he reached into his tool box and grabbed every instrument in it while hammering away at the Spurs.
