Thus, he can very much relate to that experience those youngsters were enjoying, especially when he walked through the door to a thunderous ovation.
“I was in their position at one point – just being the young kid trying to find my way in basketball and just have fun with it,” said Christie, who is a 6-5, 190-pound guard with the Dallas Mavericks.
