We finally have some clarification on the Mavericks current roster situation, with the announcement today that Jalen Brunson, Josh Richardson, Dorian Finny-Smith, Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell are out due to Health and Safety Protocols. Per ESPN’s Bobby Marks, Dallas is now eligible for a Hardship Exception.
Dallas can file for a hardship exception on each of the 4 players that tested positive for COVID-19 despite neither of the players missing 3 consecutive games.
The normal procedure is 4 players that miss 3 consecutive games and will be out 2 additional weeks.
