“If you don’t believe, you shouldn’t be here.” Luka said it best. How many of us believed we would be here? The final four. The Western Conference finals. In the history of the Mavericks franchise, there have been four Western Conference finals appearances. Now five. And one championship. Multiple teams have had far less success. Six NBA franchises have never even made it to the Finals, let alone won a championship. Making the NBA conference finals is exceedingly hard and it is a big deal.
