With an oversized pair of scissors in hand, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County President and CEO Jennifer Limas sliced through a blue satin ribbon, officially opening a brand-new podcast studio.
Eager young girls flooded the studio moments later, excited to explore all the bells and whistles of their creative space. “What do these buttons do?” asked eight-and-a-half-year-old Ellie while admiring the colorful, glowing lights on their state-of-the-art mixing board.
For Ellie and the hundreds of young women who participate in year-round programming at Girls Inc., this new podcast studio represents more than just the latest technology—it’s a space that empowers girls to find their voice, sparks curiosity and inspires creativity.
