After back-to-back losses, Mavs continue to jump over hurdles on road to healthy roster

DALLAS — After suffering back-to-back losses for the first time this young season, the Dallas Mavericks will head to the drawing board and try to make the proper corrections prior to taking the court again Saturday night to conclude a three-game homestand.

Tuesday, the Mavericks (2-3) were admittedly sluggish in the fourth quarter against the Toronto Raptors, allowing the visiting team to finish the game a 20-5 run en route to a 102-91 win at the Dallas squad’s expense. Two nights later the Mavs again grew stagnant in the second half on their home floor, falling to a 108-94 defeat to the Charlotte Hornets.
