The Dallas Mavericks have always been busy at the NBA trade deadline, and now that this one is coming up on Thursday, the Mavs are already being thrown around in trade rumors. IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW, Tristan Thompson is the latest name to pop up involving the Dallas Mavericks. The rebounding veteran from the Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly prefers a trade from the lottery-bound Cavs, and he could make some sense for the Mavs who are still looking to upgrade at the center position, despite the addition of Willie Cauley-Stein. Thompson would bring a lot of rebounding, a lob threat and some Championship experience to a young team.

The Mavs, according to Marc Stein, are looking for a wing upgrade and are apparently kicking the tires on Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Both Kidd-Gilchrist and Hollis-Jefferson do not produce a lot on the offensive end of the floor, but they are both very good defenders that could help that Mavericks out at both the wing position and power forward. It is unclear what the Hornets would ask for in exchange for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, but since they are in full rebuild mode, it likely isn’t going to cost much. Hollis-Jefferson has been good for the Toronto Raptors, but since the team is getting healthy once again, they might not value him that highly.
Andre Iguodala hasbeen in trade rumors all season long. The Dallas Mavericks have been connected to the elite defenders since the start, but now, according to Marc Stein, the Dallas Mavericks are not actively bidding on Iggy. The Memphis Grizzlies are not in any hurry to do Andre Iguodala any favors when it comes to buying him out or trading him to a contender, but they are still looking for a first-round pick for him, which the Mavs will not offer.Back to the Dallas Mavericks Newsfeed
