Dallas Mavs Rumors: Bradley Beal Trade, Season Restart, Josh Reaves & Antonius Cleveland To Regular Roster?

The 2019-20 NBA season has been postponed since March, but now the NBA is in talks to get the season restarted in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Dallas Mavericks’ head coach Rick Carlisle is optimistic about a return to the 2019-20 season, which would mean the return of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis to the court. The NBA has discussed multiple ways in which they could potentially get the season restarted including reseeding the NBA playoffs, trying to get a play-in tournament scheduled or just picking the season up right where it left off. If the NBA decides to go straight into the Playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks would be stacked up against the Los Angeles Clippers. IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW, Jimmy Crowther, host of NBA Now, breaks down the possible matching of Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic facing off against Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards has been in the middle of trade rumors ever since he signed his new deal in DC, and the latest trade rumor is that the Brooklyn Nets have had internal discussions about trading for the all-star guard. Bradley Beal’s agent has made it clear that Beal wants to stay with the Washington Wizards, but that doesn’t mean the two teams can’t come to terms on a potential deal to send Beal to the Wizards. NBA Now host Jimmy Crowther has cooked up a trade that would land Bradley Beal on the Dallas Mavericks. Seth Curry, Maxi Kleber, Boban Marjanovic, Justin Jackson and two draft picks in exchange for the Wizards superstar. This would form a brand new big three for the Dallas Mavericks of Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis and of course Luka Doncic.

One change the NBA is considering is allowing two-way players to be active for the 2020 NBA playoffs. If that is the case, the Dallas Mavericks have two very good two-way players in Antonius Cleveland and Josh Reaves. Antonius Cleveland played at an elite level in the NBA Summer League for the Dallas Mavericks and also played on the regular season roster in 2018. Josh Reaves, a rookie out of Penn State, proved himself to be an elite defensive player at the collegiate level and those defensive skills have translated to his time with the Dallas Mavericks’ G-League team, the Texas Legends.
