The Dallas Mavericks added multiple role players to help complement their stars in Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Delon Wright was acquired via a sign-and-trade with the Memphis Grizzlies to help the Dallas Mavericks sure up their defense on the perimeter. Seth Curry, formerly of the Portland Trail Blazers, is making his return to the Dallas Mavs to bring about a scoring punch along the 3-point line. The Mavericks also signed Boban Marjanovic to help the team in the paint and so that Kristaps Porzingis won’t have to defend big men like Nikola Jokic on a nightly basis.

Jimmy Crowther of All Things Mavs also predicts the 2019-20 stats for two Mavs that were on the team last year in Maxi Kleber and Justin Jackson. Maxi Kleber signed a new contract this summer as a free agent for the Mavs and is expected to see an increased role next year. Justin Jackson, who the Mavs acquired via the Sacramento Kings in a trade that sent Harrison Barnes out of Dallas, could be a new starter. He will need to improve his 3-point shot to become a full-time starter alongside Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and the rest of the Mavs.
