The Dallas Mavericks traded their first-round pick in the 2019 NBA Draft for Luka Doncic in 2018, then they traded their second-round pick, but acquired three in return and selected Isaiah Roby 45th overall. The Mavs also signed Josh Reaves out of Penn State as an undrafted free agent.

The Mavericks’ offseason truly begins in free agency where they will be looking to find a new center and/or point guard. The Mavericks have been rumored to be interested in Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets. The Mavs may also be looking to bring in former Celtics' big man Al Horford or Milwaukee Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon as a wing option.
