FRISCO, Texas – As Jason Witten enters his 16th pro season, he’s about to have yet another tight ends coach.
That part is certain, Witten will indeed get his eighth different position coach since he first joined the NFL back in 2003.
It’s starting to become clearer just who that next coach will be as the Cowboys are expected to hire Doug Nussmeier as the next tight ends coach. Nussmeier has been an offensive coordinator at Alabama, Michigan, Washington and Fresno State and has been on a quarterback coach of the Rams.
