Why dejected Cowboys are still excited about Monday’s trip to African American Museum

The dejected Dallas Cowboys will start their bye week with a loss and now a group field trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the Lincoln Memorial on Monday.

The team spent the night after Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the Washington Redskins.

Coach Jason Garrett looks at these things as educational trips, similar to what he has done in the past when the Cowboys visited the Navy Seals, the Tower of London, Ground Zero and NASA.
