Going into this offseason and looking at areas the Dallas Cowboys needed to upgrade, it would be hard to leave safety off that list. As the Cowboys are getting closer to wrapping up their free agency pursuits and finalizing their pre-draft visits, safety still remains a question mark.
To add even more unpredictability to their current safety group, it appears former first round pick Byron Jones will be moving back to corner for 2018 where he spent a good portion of his rookie season. Losing Jones, being he is the most seasoned and established safety out of this young group, certainly leaves a glaring hole on the back end.
