He believes others from his era with the Cowboys should find their way to Canton as well.
The personnel architect of the Cowboys for the better part of three decades is part of this year's eight-member class. His inclusion swells the ranks of Cowboys in the hall to 17.
Brandt, a man on the cutting edge of technology and player evaluation during his time with the franchise, believes there should be more. He listed five players from the 1960s, '70s and early '80s that he contends are long overdue.
