During the Dallas Cowboys preseason opener against the San Diego Chargers, undrafted offensive lineman La’el Collins reminded people why many thought he could have been a first round pick.
After coming out of LSU, every NFL team passed over Collins after being considered a person of interest in an investigation of a double murder involving an ex-girlfriend of his in Louisiana.
Collins was never a suspect in the case, and signed on with the Cowboys shortly after the draft.
Now that the distractions are behind him, Collins can finally focus on football, and sending messages to defenders with monstrous blocks like the one he put on Chargers linebacker Chi Chi Ariguzo on Thursday.
