Waived Cowboys draft crush could tempt Jerry Jones into another big mistake

If there’s one thing Jerry Jones and the Cowboys' front office can always be counted on, it’s trusting their pre-draft evaluations. One of the biggest offseason themes has been Dallas taking fliers on former first-round picks.

Well, Jones and company can knock out two birds with one stone in that regard after the Titans waived-injured wide receiver Treylon Burks, who fractured his collarbone over the weekend.

The Cowboys were extremely high on Burks during the 2022 draft process. Thankfully, Tennessee took the decision out of Jones' hands when they nabbed Burks at No. 18 overall.
