The more the Cowboys keep losing, the better their first of two first-round picks in the '26 draft gets.
With a three-game winning streak coming out of their Week 10 bye, which culminated with a 31-28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day, the Dallas Cowboys improved to 6-5-1 and put themselves right in the thick of the NFC playoff picture, which seemed unfathomable just a month earlier.
Since that win over the Chiefs, however, America's Team has taken three straight defeats, suffering embarrassing losses to the Detroit Lions in Week 14, the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15, and the Los Angeles Chargers this past Sunday in Week 16.
