Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys great Troy Aikman will lead the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ 93rd annual fundraising campaign.
And he’s adding a special twist on raising resources.
Aikman has named United Way the beneficiary of the “25th Anniversary of the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Champions.”
The event, organized by Aikman to honor teammates and coaches from Super Bowls XXVII, XXVIII and XXX, will be held Saturday at Gilley’s Dallas. The evening will including a special celebration honoring Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who was recently elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
