A season of nonstop drama for All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs has ended with the Cowboys waiving him before Week 18.
Cowboys fans saw this coming, but to happen before the last game of the season was unexpected. From the beginning of the season, Diggs has been outspoken about Jerry Jones trading away one of his best friends, Micah Parsons, to the Green Bay Packers.
Months before the blockbuster trade occurred, Diggs was fined $500,000 for rehabbing away from the team, and the Parsons trade obviously broke him into pieces. It was time for the Cowboys to make a change, but the bond between the Cowboys' front office and the veteran corner had already been broken for months.
