Back in 2008, the Dallas Cowboys added Felix Jones and Tashard Choice to go along with Marion Barber to create a three-headed monster called “Smash, Dash, and Tash”. Barber brought the power, Jones brought the speed, and Choice brought a little of both. The three would go on to give the Cowboys a boost in the running game, and while the overall effectiveness can be debated, it was enough to make teams start respecting the Dallas running game again.
Fast-forward to today and you’ll see the Cowboys under Mike McCarthy are looking to add to their running back group.
