At last check, the white flag still waving in front of Cowboys team headquarter has a big, blue star on it.
The Cowboys aren't surrendering on their season just because running back Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension is back on after a judge ruled in the NFL's favor late Monday in New York.
Losing Elliott for any stretch of time is certainly a blow. After all, the Cowboys ran 61 plays Sunday at Washington and Elliott touched the ball 34 times.
But this isn't a throw-in-the-towel moment for the Cowboys.
Pick your chins up and remember this: Elliott has been to only one Pro Bowl.
