Stephen Jones noted that cornerback flexibility might be a way to handle issues at safety

The Dallas Cowboys saw two injuries pop up during Sunday evening’s Cowboys Night, and that’s never something that you want to see. Wide receiver Ventell Bryant does not have an ACL tear which is good news, but the other name is one that Cowboys fans are still awaiting word on - Xavier Woods. The team’s starting safety was a casualty of the night, but there is a lot of optimism that he isn’t dealing with anything serious

Stephen Jones noted during his Monday appearance on 105.3 The Fan that the Cowboys haven’t gotten the report on Woods back yet (as of lunchtime) but that they are in fact hopeful about the results.
