What he did last season: Crawford began the year as an edge rusher before finding a home at the under tackle position in coordinator Rod Marinelli’s defense in Week 4, after starter Henry Melton was slowed by a hamstring injury he suffered in the previous game. Crawford immediately began paying dividends, but didn’t record the first sack of his career until Nov. 27. He finished the season with 29 quarterback pressures – second-most on the team.
