Source: Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott's agent discussed contract Thursday – here are important things to know about RB's holdout

OXNARD, Calif. -- Cowboys starting running back Ezekiel Elliott didn't report for a mandatory team physical and conditioning test on Friday, officially becoming a holdout of training camp. The Cowboys can fine Elliott up to $40,000 a day for missing training camp practices.

"He's late and we have officially reported and so he's a non-report officially," Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said at a news conference to start training camp. "And all of the mechanisms that are in place with your collective barging agreements, structurally under the contract, everything is in place and addressed if you're not where your contracted to be.
