Earl Thomas wanted to come back home to Texas and play for the Dallas Cowboys. He told them as much after a Christmas Eve game at AT&T Stadium last season.
A trade never materialized during Thomas’ long holdout and he returned to the Seattle Seahawks just in time for the regular season.
Thomas, who attend West Orange Stark High School and played at the University of Texas, capped the Seahawks 24-13 win over the Cowboys Sunday at Century Link Field with his second interception of the day which shut down any hopes of a Dallas comeback.
