IRVING, Texas – First-round rookie Byron Jones has played just about everywhere in the Cowboys’ secondary this season, most recently the first two cornerback starts of his career for an injured Mo Claiborne (hamstring).
Previously Jones had taken over as the starting free safety for three games. He said he doesn’t feel more comfortable at one position over the other yet – he’s just happy to be playing wherever needed.
The Cowboys have certainly needed Jones’ production throughout his rookie year. In the last five games, he has played 320 of 323 defensive snaps.
