Report: “There isn’t any traction” for a Jamal Adams to Cowboys deal

Rumors heated up in recent days regarding the Dallas Cowboys potentially making a move for All-Pro safety and Dallas-Fort Worth native Jamal Adams. The latest rumors stem from Adams wanting a contract extension and the Jets’ unwillingness to pay their 2017 first-round selection with two years still remaining on his rookie deal.

While initial reports suggested late last week that the Cowboys were in play for the former Hebron High School and LSU Tigers star defensive back, it was later said that Dallas had yet to make a call to the Jets regarding the All-Pro.
