The NFL is bringing its 2018 draft to North Texas, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The draft will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Round 1 is Thursday, April 26. Later rounds on Friday and Saturday April 27-28 could be moved to The Star in Frisco. North Texas has never hosted the draft.
Dallas is also hosting the 2018 NHL Draft.
According to the NFL, representatives from 14 markets attended the draft in Philadelphia to investigate the process of hosting what has blossomed into an event. In the end, 20 made pitches to host.
