The Dallas Cowboys and DeMarcus Lawrence have been at a standstill as far as a new contract for the star pass rusher for some time.
Lawrence was given the franchise tag for the second straight offseason recently, and that’s not something that he was very pleased about. In playing on the tag last year, Lawrence gambled on himself and he is ready to cash in.
It’s seemed like the Cowboys weren’t willing to meet the exact cash value that Lawrence wanted, but it’s still only April.
