Report: Dallas Cowboys land Vikings defensive coordinator

In 2018, the Dallas Cowboys fielded a very talented defensive unit that was on the verge of being considered elite. That group regressed last season. Now, they’ll reportedly get some extra guidance from the man who led an impressive Minnesota Vikings defensive unit for the past six seasons.

The Cowboys defense allowed an average of 329.3 yards per game to opposing offenses in 2018, ranking them seventh best in the NFL. Dallas would limit their opponents to 20 points or less in nine of their 16-regular season games on their way to posting a 10-6 record and a playoff victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
