Brett Maher is the professional kicker that the Dallas Cowboys employ to play football for them. Brett Maher is having what is literally the worst season that any professional kicker has had for any team over the last four years. Literally.
Maher certainly has redeeming qualities. He can make a kick from Waco, but generally he hasn’t been very good. In spite of this the Cowboys have continued to roll with him at a position that can be very critical in NFL games.
After two misses on Thanksgiving Day against the Buffalo Bills, it appeared as if the Cowboys may have had enough of Maher.
